Is Candy Shorts worth it? For adults who like short, serialized, suggestive drama, yes, provided you let the free episodes make the case before you spend a token. Episode 1 of every public series plays with no sign-up, Episode 2 is free with a free account, and you only pay from Episode 3 on.
That free layer is what this candy shorts video review is built on. We have reviewed 166 of Candy's series, 154 public and 12 members-only, and we score only what we can watch free. Our verdict: worth it as a pick-a-few-series habit, poor value as a way to chase every long series to the end.
The rest of this page shows where that line falls: what the catalog offers, how the production holds up, what an episode costs and who should walk away. If you would rather go straight to the test, jump to the last section.
Who is it for? Adults who like a story in small doses: a premise, a hook, a cliffhanger and the option to stop after any episode. If you would rather watch one long film in a single sitting, or you want every episode without a meter running, you will feel the cost sooner than the fun.
Candy lists 188 Shorts series: 171 public and 17 members-only. That is enough range to change setting every time you finish one. Our series list sorts them by theme and by what is free, and the settings run from offices and royal courts to mountain cabins and military bases.
Length is mostly sensible. Six of the seven series we recommend first run five episodes, which keeps a finish affordable. YES MA'AM is the outlier at 30 episodes, and we come back to what that costs below.
Members-only series work differently. You can see them with a free account, but Episodes 1 and 2 cost 0 tokens and still need Premium, and later episodes cost 30 or 50 tokens each. That is why we score only the public series: we rate what you can judge for nothing, and we say so instead of guessing about the rest.
The honest caveat is the formula. Read enough synopses and a pattern shows: a secret, someone one room away and a clock running down. A fiancée waiting outside the door, a wife in the next room, a royal wedding seven days off. If that setup works for you, the change of scenery keeps it fresh. If it does not, 188 series will not change your mind.
The catalog is also still moving. Candy currently flags 16 series with a New Episodes badge, and we track them on our new episodes page.
Better than you would expect from a free first episode. We looked at Episode 1 frames from series that share almost nothing: Lodge 69 Was Double Booked, Under the Boss, YES MA'AM and The Prince's Last Week Unwed.
Each has its own world and its own light. A log cabin porch in low winter sun. A glass-walled office high above a city skyline. A rain-grey training ground churned to mud. A castle courtyard hung with banners and flowers. Sets are dressed, costumes fit the genre, and the footage is vertical and graded like a glossy short instead of a phone clip. Some frames use a first-person camera, so you are in the scene rather than watching it.
That consistency matters more than any single frame. Move from the cabin to the castle and the series still share a house style, which is what a catalog this size needs if a free first episode is going to sell the next one.
The limits are the limits of AI video. Fast motion can smear, and small details such as hands can look soft. Look closely and you can tell it is generated; look at the whole frame and it holds together. Candy does not publish runtimes, so we will not guess how long an episode runs. Episode 1 shows you the pace for nothing.
On each public series page, our visuals score grades Episode 1 on lighting, sets, consistency and polish, so you can compare series at a glance.
Episode 1 costs nothing and needs no account. Episode 2 costs nothing but needs a free account. After that, a public series charges 12 or 30 tokens an episode.
At 12 tokens an episode, a five-episode series costs 36 tokens to finish, as with Couples Therapy With Margot Vey. At 30 tokens an episode, the same length costs 90, as with My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom. YES MA'AM's 30 episodes cost 336 tokens to finish.
| Plan | Price | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $9.99 first month, then $13.99 | $13.99 after month one |
| 3 months | $26.97 | $8.99 |
| 12 months | $47.88 | $3.99 |
Premium includes 100 tokens a month. Candy is run by EverAI Limited (Malta), and charges show as "EverAI". Plans renew automatically; Candy says you can cancel any time in settings. Our price guide has the full breakdown.
So is that fair? A month's 100 tokens finishes a 36-token series with room to spare and just covers a 90-token one. It will not cover a 336-token marathon. Put it in a budget: finishing Under the Boss, at 36 tokens, uses about a third of one month's tokens, and two five-episode series at 12 tokens come to 72, which still fits inside a single month. The sensible way to spend is to pick short series, check the Episode 3 cost first and stop when the story stops earning its tokens. The longer plans only make sense once you know you will keep watching.
Some series use a licensed AI likeness of a real adult performer. She licensed her likeness to Candy; she did not film the scenes and she is not on screen. Everything in Candy Shorts is fictional and every character is an adult. Our digital twins guide has the detail on the likenesses.
The rest of the cast are AI characters, and you can meet them on our AI characters hub. Chat is the hook that sits after the episodes: Candy ties the series to its AI companions so you can keep talking to the people you just watched. As far as we can verify, it is a separate layer from the episodes, and we do not score it. Treat it as something to test, not a reason to pay.
Is it safe to try? The risk is rarely Candy itself and often the copycats around it. Candy is run by EverAI Limited, and charges show as EverAI. Candy is the only source for Candy episodes, and anything promising free tokens is a scam. Our safety guide covers what to check before you enter a card.
Stay on Candy for all of it. Sites that promise full episodes elsewhere are re-uploads that are partial, fake or scams. Our how to watch guide walks through the steps above on screen.
Not sure where to begin? Couples Therapy With Margot Vey puts a bold therapist inside a couple's sessions and their private life. Lodge 69 Was Double Booked drops two couples into one mountain cabin. Under the Boss follows a shy new temp and a boss who gets obsessed. The Prince's Last Week Unwed brings a step-cousin to a royal wedding week, and she won't let him forget what happened between them. All four run five episodes, with Episodes 1 and 2 free.

Yes, for adults who like short serialized drama and are happy to pay per episode. Episode 1 plays with no sign-up and Episode 2 is free with a free account, so you can judge the style before paying. Later episodes on public series cost 12 or 30 tokens, and Premium includes 100 tokens a month.
Our first picks are Couples Therapy With Margot Vey, Lodge 69 Was Double Booked, Under the Boss and The Prince's Last Week Unwed. Each runs five episodes at 12 tokens apiece after the free ones. For a long run, YES MA'AM has 30 episodes. Public series pages show our scores for story, heat and visuals.
Sites that claim to host full episodes for nothing are re-uploads, and they are partial, fake or built to scam you. Candy is the only legitimate source, and it already gives you two real free episodes of every public series. You start paying at Episode 3, so there is no reason to risk a sketchy site.
Open any public series on Candy and press play on Episode 1; no sign-up is needed. Create a free account to unlock Episode 2, which is also free. Before you spend a token, check the cost of Episode 3 on the series page. Members-only series are different, because they need Premium even for Episodes 1 and 2.
Monthly Premium is $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99. Three months is $26.97 ($8.99 a month) and twelve months is $47.88 ($3.99 a month). Premium includes 100 tokens a month, and public episodes after Episode 2 cost 12 or 30 tokens each. Candy is run by EverAI Limited, so charges show as EverAI.
Plans renew automatically, and Candy says you can cancel any time in settings. Set a reminder before your first month ends, because the monthly price moves from $9.99 to $13.99 after it. Charges appear on your statement as EverAI, which is the name of the company that runs Candy.
