Dad's New Girlfriend: Story, Episodes and Token Costs on Candy Shorts

What is Dad's New Girlfriend about?

Dad's New Girlfriend is a six-episode Candy Shorts series about chemistry you are not supposed to have. Candy's synopsis: Colette, your father's much younger girlfriend, is charming, carefree and impossible to ignore. The chemistry between you is undeniable, and every glance leaves you wondering if some lines are meant to be crossed.

It is a mood-first premise. There is no plot twist in the description, just a person you cannot stop noticing and a line you keep standing next to. All characters are adults, and Colette is your father's girlfriend, not a relative.

Candy doesn't publish plots for individual episodes, so the synopsis is the honest limit of what we can say. What it tells you is the pace: slow, charged and built on small moments rather than big reveals.

That suits a six-episode run. Instead of racing through events, the story can spend its time on the part the synopsis cares about, which is the question hanging over every glance: whether anyone will act on it. For viewers who prefer anticipation to action, that is the appeal.

Is Dad's New Girlfriend free, and what do Episodes 3 to 6 cost?

The start is free. Episode 1 plays on Candy with no sign-up, and Episode 2 is free with a free account. After that, Dad's New Girlfriend Episode 3 costs 12 tokens, and so do Episodes 4, 5 and 6. Finishing the series takes 48 tokens, and each price is in the episode list near the top.

Premium includes 100 tokens a month, which on paper covers all 48. Our price page has the plan breakdown, and the free guide explains what you get without paying.

Is it worth 48 tokens?

If the first two episodes hook you, yes. Twelve tokens an episode is a modest price for a short series, and you can judge the tone before spending anything. A slow burn only works if you enjoy the waiting, so use the free episodes to find out.

Is it legit, and where can you watch the full episodes?

It is a real series on Candy, and Candy is the only place that carries it. The series page on candy.ai has subtitles in 6 languages, and charges appear under the name EverAI, the company behind Candy.

If you have been searching for the full episodes on video-sharing sites or forums, or anything marked leaked, here is the plain answer. Those results are partial clips, fakes or scams, and none of them is the real series. The free legal route is Episode 1 with no sign-up, then Episode 2 with a free account. New to the platform? Our guide to watching Candy Shorts shows the steps.

What does Episode 1 look like?

We checked three frames from Episode 1, and the setting is a busy coffee shop. Exposed brick, shelves of coffee bags, a chalkboard menu and a neon sign give it a warm, designed feel, and the worn wood counter picks up soft daylight from the front of the room.

The camera works in close, using shallow focus to keep attention on the people at the counter while the shop blurs behind them. The color is bright and saturated, with warm browns against a green apron and splashes of pink and blue from the neon. It looks crisp and expensive.

The finish is a little smoother than real life, which is common in AI-made series. Still, the sets are consistent from frame to frame, and the café gives it a lighter tone than the synopsis might suggest. Because Episode 1 plays with no sign-up, you can judge the look yourself in a few minutes, which is the best test before deciding whether the later episodes are worth tokens.

Who will enjoy it?

This is for viewers who like slow-burn tension and forbidden chemistry over fast plot. The thrill sits in the near-misses, the looks that last a second too long, and the question of who will blink first. Candy tags it taboo and doesn't carry a Spicy label, so expect suggestive and charged rather than the most intense end of the catalog.

It also suits first-time viewers who want a short commitment. Six episodes is easy to finish, and Colette Ramsey, listed on Candy as a Candy AI character, gives the series a single clear focus. You can read more on her Colette Ramsey character page.

If you want twists and a crowded cast, look elsewhere. This one stays close and small on purpose.
