I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend on Candy Shorts: Story and Where to Watch

What is I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend about?

I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend is a five-episode short series on Candy AI Shorts, and Candy's synopsis is only a few lines long. It sets the scene with three people: Sofia, her boyfriend and the friend who was only supposed to fix a computer. She never meant to fall for him, but revenge tastes too good to pass up.

That small cast is the point. A love triangle needs very little scaffolding, and the synopsis gives you the motive and the complication in one go: an unplanned attraction that revenge makes hard to resist. All characters are adults. Candy does not publish episode-by-episode plots, so the synopsis is the whole map we can give you.

Notice the title, too. "I Won" frames the story as a contest, and the synopsis's line about revenge fits that reading. It is a stronger angle than a straightforward affair, because the motive is personal rather than accidental, and it gives every scene a quiet question about who is really keeping score.

The cast Candy lists is Sofia Fletcher, a Candy AI character. There is more about her on the Sofia Fletcher page.

Is I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend free to watch?

Partly, and the free part is enough to judge the series. Episode 1 plays on Candy with no sign-up at all: open the series page and press play. Episode 2 is free as well, but it needs a free Candy account. That is two of five episodes before you spend a single token.

Candy is the only official home of the series. It is run by EverAI Limited, based in Malta, and any charge shows up on your statement as "EverAI". What do Episodes 3 to 5 cost, and are they worth it?

Episode 3, Episode 4 and Episode 5 each cost 12 tokens. After the free episodes, finishing the series takes 36 tokens in total. The per-episode breakdown sits in the episode list on this page, so we will not repeat the table here.

Is that worth it? Let Episodes 1 and 2 answer that. If you want to see where the revenge leads, a flat 12 tokens an episode is a predictable price. Candy's Premium plans include 100 tokens a month, which covers the 36 this series needs, and the Candy Shorts price page has the plans in full. If the first two episodes do nothing for you, you have spent nothing.

What does Episode 1 look like?

We looked at three frames from Episode 1. This is not animation. It is photoreal AI-generated video in a vertical frame made for a phone screen.

The look is bright and domestic. The frames move between a soft-lit bedroom with white linens and a glowing lamp, and a sunlit kitchen where a plate of pancakes sits between two people. The palette is clean and neutral, the light is soft and natural, and a shallow depth of field blurs the background so the close-ups carry the scene.

The effect is closer to a romantic comedy or a lifestyle ad than to a thriller, which gives the revenge premise a pleasing contrast: the setting is warm and easy, and the story underneath is not. The look stays consistent across the three frames, with the same clean interiors and the same soft grade. If you want glossy, atmospheric moodiness, this is not that; if you want an easy, good-looking watch you can put on your phone in a spare moment, it is.

Who will enjoy this series?

It is for viewers who like relationship drama with a twist of payback: friends, partners and a decision that cannot be undone. If you prefer sunny, intimate, domestic settings to dark or dramatic ones, the frames suggest this will suit you.

Candy does not mark it with a Spicy label, so expect charged, suggestive tension rather than the strongest end of the catalog. Our score is in the box above.

For other triangles and temptations, try My Girlfriend's Twin, Our New Babysitter or My Girlfriend Paid for My Happy Ending. Everything else is on the series list.

Can you watch the full episodes anywhere else?

No. Candy is the only legitimate place to watch I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend. Full or leaked uploads on video sites and social posts, Dailymotion included, are not official releases, and they tend to be partial, mislabeled or fake. Some are scams. The free and legal way in is Episode 1 with no sign-up, then Episode 2 with a free account, then 12 tokens an episode for the rest. Start with Episode 1; it costs nothing and will tell you whether to keep going.
