What is Under the Chief Candy Shorts about?

Under the Chief is a five-episode series on Candy AI Shorts, with the Candy AI character Harriet Seagrave in the lead. Candy's synopsis is a single sentence: awkward newcomer Harriet is surprised when the chief of surgery locks the on-call door and gives her some very "hands-on training," while the jealous head nurse who wants her fired is waiting right outside.

All characters are adults. The hook is a door with two sides. Inside is a mentor with an unusual idea of teaching; outside is someone who would love to see Harriet gone. Candy doesn't publish plot notes for individual episodes, so we can describe the premise and its tension, not what happens after the lock clicks.

It is a workplace story with a hospital twist, and that matters: the setting comes with rank, hierarchy and a reason to keep things quiet, all of which feed the suspense.

Is it legit, and where can you watch it?

Yes, it is a real Candy release, and Candy is the only legitimate place to see it. The Shorts section of candy.ai is run by EverAI Limited (Malta), and charges appear as "EverAI". Clips and "full episodes" posts elsewhere are partial, fake or scams.

Which episodes are free, and what does Episode 3 cost?

Episode 1 plays with no sign-up: open the series on Candy and press play. Episode 2 is free once you create a free account. That is two of the five episodes before you spend anything.

If you searched for Under the Chief free episodes or the full run, the honest answer is that Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are paid. Is it worth 36 tokens?

Finishing the series costs 36 tokens: three paid episodes at 12 tokens each. Premium includes 100 tokens a month, so the paid half fits comfortably inside one month's allowance. Candy's listed plans are $9.99 for the first month and then $13.99 a month, $26.97 for three months ($8.99 a month), or $47.88 for a year ($3.99 a month). Plans renew automatically, and Candy says you can cancel any time in settings.

How does Episode 1 look?

Think glossy and photoreal, not cartoon animation. The frames are AI-generated, in vertical phone format, with a clean, bright grade.

The setting is a hospital floor: a long corridor with a gleaming pale floor, pale-blue lower walls, wooden doors and rows of fluorescent ceiling panels. Another frame is a nurses' station with a counter, a desk phone, pens in a cup, clipboards and a window onto a patient room. The third catches a scatter of colored folders and clipboards on the floor. Two of the frames are shot from a first-person angle, with a hand holding a clipboard at the bottom of the picture, which makes the viewer feel part of the scene.

The light is even and clinical, with a cool white-and-blue palette. It reads as a believable ward rather than a fantasy set, and the props are consistent from shot to shot. The trade-off is that flat fluorescent light is less moody than a candlelit room, but it suits a story about a workplace.

Who will enjoy it?

This one is for viewers who like a workplace tease with a clock on it: a locked door, a jealous rival and an authority figure with an agenda. The tone is playful and tense rather than dark. Candy hasn't given it the Spicy label, so expect the risk of discovery to carry the heat. Subtitles are available in 7 languages.
