The King's Chambermaid Candy Shorts: Story, Cast and Where to Watch

What is The King's Chambermaid about?

The King's Chambermaid Candy Shorts is a five-episode series on Candy's short adult AI line of shows, set in a castle court. Candy's synopsis: a king trapped in a cold political marriage falls for the servant sent to dress him each morning, and in a castle where the Queen hears everything, the girl from the kitchens wants more than his bed.

The best line in that synopsis is the last one. It turns what could be a simple forbidden romance into a contest of ambition: she is not just a servant who catches a king's eye, she wants more than the obvious. Add a Queen who hears everything and every private moment comes with a risk. Candy tags it fantasy and maid, and all characters are adults.

Candy doesn't publish plots for individual episodes, so the synopsis is as far as we can honestly go. We would rather say that than guess. Candy currently shows a New Episodes badge on the listing.

Is The King's Chambermaid Candy Shorts legit, and where can you watch it?

Yes. It is an official Candy series and Candy is the only place that carries it. If you're hunting for the full series for free, the legal way in is short: Episode 1 plays with no sign-up, Episode 2 unlocks with a free account, and Episodes 3 to 5 cost tokens.

Clips and "full episode" posts on other sites are re-uploads that are partial, mislabeled or built to get a click, and some are scams. If another site asks you to install something, share your Candy login or pay a stranger, close it and go back to Candy. Our guide on how to watch Candy Shorts shows the official route step by step.

Which episodes are free, and is Episode 3 worth 12 tokens?

The series has 5 episodes. Episode 1 plays with no sign-up at all. Episode 2 is free once you create a free Candy account. The King's Chambermaid Episode 3 costs 12 tokens, and so do Episodes 4 and 5, so seeing the whole story takes 36 tokens. The cost of each episode is listed in the episode list on this page.

Is it worth it? At 12 tokens per paid episode the commitment is small, and two episodes cost nothing to try. Candy's Premium plan includes 100 tokens a month, which more than covers the 36 you need; it starts at $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99, and renews automatically, with cancellation in settings. Our Candy Shorts price guide lays out the longer plans, and the guide to what is free on Candy Shorts covers everything you can watch without paying. Subtitles are available in 7 languages.

What does Episode 1 look like?

We checked three frames from Episode 1. It is shot vertically, for a phone screen, in warm, hazy light that suits the period.

• One frame is a sunlit castle room with tall arched windows, candles and old wood, shot from a first-person angle with a fur-trimmed sleeve at the edge of the frame.
• Another is an intimate close-up in amber candlelight, with a loosely braided hairstyle and a simple period costume.
• A third shows a pair of hands pressed together in front of a blurred, arched interior, bathed in golden light.

The takeaway: period costume, candles and gold-toned haze make it read as a castle without needing a big set. The look is consistent and rich, and the first-person framing puts you in the king's place. Our visuals score, in the box above, reflects that. Episode 1 is the best indication of the production standard you can get before spending anything.

Who is Faye Corin on Candy Shorts?

Candy lists Faye Corin in the cast as a Candy AI character, not as a licensed likeness of a real person. Candy doesn't publish more cast detail for individual episodes, so we can't tell you which scenes she appears in. Some people search for the series by her name, and this is the listing they are looking for.

Who will enjoy it, and what should you watch next?

If you like royal-court intrigue where desire and ambition pull in the same direction, this is a good match. The tension comes from secrecy, rank and a castle that listens. Our heat score sits in the box above. Five episodes is a small commitment, and the first two cost 0 tokens.
